Nico Pecchi brings nearly 20 years of strategic finance experience within globally recognized Fashion, Luxury, and Retail brands across the United States and Europe. He has a proven track record in building Finance and Accounting departments from the ground up, supporting expansion in both Retail and Wholesale channels as well as entering international markets.

Nico’s expertise extends to M&A transactions and capital raising, successfully navigating funding rounds from Seed to Series B. Since 2015, he has been dedicated to supporting emerging brands as a Mentor, Advisor, and fractional CFO, helping them achieve financial sustainability and accelerated growth.

With extensive experience at industry leaders including Sephora (LVMH), Oakley (Luxottica), Levi Strauss, and HBC (now Saks Global), Nico brings deep expertise in the unique financial challenges facing fashion and retail businesses. His strategic vision, coupled with his hands-on approach to financial operations, has enabled him to successfully scale companies by implementing robust financial planning processes, optimizing cash flow management, and establishing KPI frameworks that drive profitability.

  • He has successfully raised over $20M in debt and equity financing, including $10M at Ana Luisa, where he spearheaded retail expansion strategy and built operating models used for Series A fundraising.
  • Nico has driven operational excellence by rebuilding chart of accounts, improving month-end close processes (reducing timelines from 25th to 12th of the month), and implementing advanced financial planning systems, including weekly cash flow models with 2-year projections.
  • His strategic leadership in corporate development includes negotiating cost savings exceeding $200K annually and supporting expansion into new revenue channels and international markets.
  • Leading cross-functional teams, Nico has built and managed FP&A departments at $250M+ companies, establishing budgeting processes, financial modeling, and investor reporting that support long-term strategic planning.
