Our History with EO: A message from our co-founder
“I have been an entrepreneur all my life…ever since I was a sophomore in college. I joined EO back in 2003 when it was still YEO (Young Entrepreneurs Organization) and I was building my software company in San Francisco. It was a great growth opportunity in my own journey as a CEO. I jumped in with both feet to the entire EO experience, attending networking and sponsorship events, engaging other entrepreneurs on their journey, and even joined the Board of the SF chapter. Shortly thereafter, I relocated my family to the Big Apple and became a member of EO-NY. I still remember meeting my forum for the very first time at a retreat in Michigan, sponsored by the Kaufmann Center. I loved my entire time with EO and unhappily left following the sale of my ownership stake in my company back in 2014.
Since then, I have formed another startup in the financial services space. For the past 5 years, I committed to helping companies grow and scale by providing financial leadership via a “fractional” (part-time) model. We have built a great team of professionals who are singularly focused on acting as the CEO’s “financial business partner”, i.e. proactive, forward-looking, experienced CFO’s who can help navigate the “land mines” that are common for all types of companies looking to grow. As a serial entrepreneur, I am both honored and excited to be able to build this company and, at the same time, help other entrepreneurs realize their vision. It goes without saying, I am thrilled to be back with EO-NY and would love to help anyone in the chapter whenever you have a question or need help in any way.”
