Tim Laczkowski works with small and medium-sized businesses in a variety of financial leadership functions. He has a track record of success in capital raising, structuring transactions, and negotiating new capital and restructuring agreements.
He is adept at identifying and resolving complex issues in a timely and efficient manner. Overseeing the finance and accounting functions at several companies, he has improved financial reporting and cash flow management, restructured debt agreements, and executed multiple equity and debt transactions. He also has a background in sourcing acquisition targets through various sources including bankers, intermediaries, and business founders/owners.
Tim founded Altacrest Capital to focus on investing and growing lower-middle market companies. Altacrest is a private equity firm focused on acquiring control positions in branded consumer product and business-to-business companies. At Altacrest, he is responsible for deal origination and operational and fund-raising activities. Before Altacrest, Tim spent 15 years at Prudential Private Capital, the private investment arm of Prudential Financial, investing private debt and equity across various industries. Prior to Prudential, Tim worked as a management consultant for PwC and in the audit practice of EY.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Science and Business Administration in Accounting and a Master in Business Administration in Finance both from Washington University in St. Louis.
