Shay Godfrey is a respected accounting professional with extensive experience in broad and progressive accounting. She brings over 19 years of solid, hands-on accounting experience with over nine years in management. She is an effective leader, with the ability to reach timely resolution and effectively communicate a strategy forward. Shay has worked in diverse accounting and leadership roles in such industries as real estate, banking, retail, non-profit, healthcare, logistics, software, legal, healthcare, banking, auto sales, dentistry, energy, security, and technology.
Ms. Godfrey joined The CEO’s Right Hand as a Senior Accountant where she is responsible for full charge bookkeeping and monthly financial reporting and analysis.
Prior to joining The CEO’s Right Hand, Shay served as an Accounting Manager and independent accounting consultant, where she led and trained associates and developed partnerships with internal teams, external vendors, and clients. Shay has extensive insight within the accounting field and possesses strong problem solving and streamlining skills. She has managed the books for small-medium businesses with various levels of complexities, owners, transaction volumes, and employees. Shay is a Certified QuickBooks Online ProAdvisor.
She received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas State University.
