Max Roberts is a seasoned financial professional with extensive expertise in private equity, corporate finance, corporate restructuring, and project finance.

Over the past two decades, Max has held pivotal roles in multiple organizations, driving financial strategies, operational efficiencies, and value-creation initiatives. He has worked with start-ups, middle-market private companies, and multinational corporations.

With a solid foundation in private equity and financial consulting, Max has expertise in deal evaluation, due diligence, and operational assessments. He has led numerous transactions and implemented value-enhancing initiatives across portfolio companies, reflecting his proficiency in driving sustainable growth and operational excellence.

Max’s accomplishments include spearheading critical projects within the pharmaceutical industry, managing multimillion-dollar construction ventures, and facilitating seamless divestitures of global divisions. His meticulous approach ensures project success while mitigating business disruptions, exemplifying his commitment to delivering results. Max was also the CFO of a personal care brand company, and under his guidance, the company experienced a significant EBITDA improvement of 35% through strategic financial reorganization and vendor negotiation, showcasing his proficiency in driving profitability. Max has played a pivotal role in advising diverse businesses on financial planning, divestitures/acquisitions, and restructuring. His track record includes successfully guiding a $160 million middle-market company in the food manufacturing industry through a lucrative sale process, highlighting his adeptness in maximizing returns for stakeholders. He was also the direct advisor to the CEO on the wind-down of a $150 million terminal operator.

Max received an MBA with a concentration in Finance from Southern Methodist University’s Cox School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Skidmore College. He is a Certified Insolvency Restructuring Advisor (CIRA) and a Six Sigma Greenbelt.
