Matt Burlando is an experienced Fractional CFO and cannabis M&A sell and buy-side advisor, capital advisor, and capital finder.
In addition to cannabis, his finance experience is focused in the areas of life science (med device/drug dev/healthcare IT), SaaS and software-based technologies, data analytics/AI, family-run service businesses, M&A, and exit planning. Dovetailing his five years of experience in the cannabis industry, he provides business advisory and capital finding services (debt and equity) for both non-ancillary and ancillary canna businesses.
After five years of public accounting experience with two Big 4 public accounting firms, Matt spent twelve years in senior finance or CFO roles with medical device companies that had a heavy manufacturing presence. Matt also has several years of experience as CFO for SaaS-based recurring revenue data analytics companies. This included leading the sell-side process of a $30Mil SaaS data analytics company in the retail space.
Matt has a MBA from the University of Pittsburgh’s KATZ Graduate Business School and holds an active CPA license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
