Mr. Keeley is a dynamic, hands-on Chief Financial Officer and former 15-year Audit and Consulting Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. He serves as a Financial Expert on the Board of Directors for several public and private companies.
He brings extensive domestic and international experience across a diverse range of industry sectors, including food service, financial services, commercial manufacturing & engineering, healthcare, higher education, and state & federal government. He is a Practicing Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Finance MBA, and Certified Information Systems Professional (CITP).
For the past 5 years, Mr. Keeley has been the fractional CFO and Financial Expert on the Board of Directors of First Foods Group, Inc. (OTCQB Ticker Symbol: FIFG), a fully reporting corporation dedicated to pursuing food-related franchise opportunities while simultaneously manufacturing, distributing and selling its own specialty chocolate and health-related products. Mark completed an 18-month contract to serve as the Chief Financial Officer, Chief Administrative Officer and Chief Compliance Officer of an SEC-registered investment management corporation with $3B of assets under management. He was responsible for accounting, FP&A & ERP activities and positioning the corporation for an M&A transaction. He won and executed the only CFO Services Contract awarded in 2014 by the Massachusetts Division of the Business Association of New England to serve as the CFO of a mechanical engineering, manufacturing and biotech R&D corporation with a $90M valuation.
As an Audit and Consulting Partner with PricewaterhouseCoopers Mark grew a CFO Services business with annual revenue of $25M generated from over 10 multi-year Federal contracts with over $500M in ceiling value. Built detailed quotes and achieved targeted margins by developing sophisticated fixed price and time and materials strategies involving 20+ teaming partners and 200+ domestic and international delivery personnel and sales directors. He won and executed a $14M procurement to work in the Iraqi war zone for the United States Secretary of Defense Task Force for Business Stability Operations (TFBSO) to stabilize re-emerging Iraqi manufacturing businesses. As well, he evaluated cost-based contracts for the US Air Force and the Army Corps of Engineers and signed the first American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) Attestation (AT) 101 Examination Opinion for the Air Force Fund Balance with Treasury. He testified to the United States Congress, House Armed Services Committee (HASC) about the financial reporting condition of the Department of Defense and served as PwC’s representative to the HASC Chairman, Congressman Michael Conaway.
Mr. Keeley graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting with a minor in Computer Science. He then attended Boston College where he received Master of Finance Degree.
