Nathan Littlewood is a strategic finance executive with deep expertise in mining, capital markets, and sustainability. His unique background combines hands-on mining operations experience with institutional investment analysis and startup leadership, making him particularly well-suited to support innovative companies in the mining and cleantech sectors.
As Head of US Metals & Mining Equity Research at Credit Suisse, Nathan was recognized as the #1 ranked analyst by Bloomberg (2014). He developed extensive expertise in mining operations, financial modeling, and valuation across global markets. His experience includes conducting detailed operational and financial analysis of mining assets across multiple continents, working with institutional investors across various asset classes, and developing sophisticated financial models to support investment decisions.
More recently, Nathan has focused on supporting climate technology and sustainability-focused ventures. As Founder & CEO of Urban Leaf, he scaled the business to seven figures in revenue while achieving B-Corp certification and establishing it as the world’s first carbon-negative gardening company. This involved comprehensive carbon accounting, supply chain decarbonization initiatives, and developing innovative environmental strategies.
His operational experience includes managing complex mining projects for Rio Tinto and BHP Billiton, where he oversaw project scheduling, cost control, and workforce management. As a Project Engineer, he managed teams of over 100 people and handled critical aspects of mine expansion projects.
Currently, Nathan serves as an advisor to multiple accelerators including Startmate and Food Future Co, where he supports scaling companies with financial modeling, valuation, and capital raising strategies. As Founder of Future Ready, he provides strategic CFO services to mission-driven companies, with particular expertise in:
