Lisa Hemi, CPA, CA, is a results-driven Chief Financial Officer with deep expertise in finance and accounting, administration, and business operations. With 30 years of experience, she has worked with small, medium, and large-sized companies across many industry groups.

As a seasoned professional in finance and accounting, Lisa has held CFO and other senior-level finance positions and has worked with companies as a Fractional CFO. She supports client success in the following areas:

  • Financial oversight – daily and weekly transactions, financial reporting and analysis (month/quarter/annual), reporting packages, budgeting, forecasting, internal controls, and payroll
  • Cashflow analysis and management – daily and weekly cashflow monitoring, working capital optimization, accounts receivable management and collections, and accounts payable management
  • Leadership – manages, supports, and oversees accounting and finance individuals and teams, problem solves, liaises with internal and external stakeholders, and manages strategic planning and growth
  • Process optimization – process flow evaluation and analysis, development, automation, improvement, streamlining, recommendations, and implementation

As a strategic partner with the leadership team, Lisa focuses on achieving financial goals and business success. She has a proven track record of achievement in driving finance transformation, automation, championing cost-saving opportunities, reducing month-end close cycles, system integrations, and implementing processes to optimize performance. She has met many challenges related to contract executions, change management, leadership conflict resolution, and strategic challenges that required in-depth review, analysis, problem solving, and resolution.

Lisa is a Chartered Accountant (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario) and Chartered Professional Accountant (Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada) and started her career with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. She graduated from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, with an Honours Bachelor of Commerce degree.
